Business is thriving in Thurrock. There was a fantastic turnout at this morning’s networking meeting. There were 40 businesses in the room and it was bursting at the seams! An amazing buzz and vibe in the room.
New Businesses thriving
It was great to see 12 new faces at the meeting and hear about their new businesses. We often have a new startup business attend the meetings. It is good to see people taking the plunge into setting up their own business and start networking.
It was also good to see the return of the new businesses who attended last month. Networking is about making good contacts, building relationships and trust with like-minded businesses and this takes time. It is nice to have good support from local businesses who have been attending the group for many years now.
I am really proud of how well the Thurrock Network Group is doing. The group is supported by the local businesses that attend as well as from the Thurrock Council/Low Carbon Business. It is nice to receive positive comments and feedback from the attendees. I am already looking forward to next month’s meeting.
We meet at 8 am on the 3rd Thursday every month at the Thurrock Learning Shop and all businesses are welcome.
